Off Duty Not Driving Rewards
How We Create and Review Content
Fleets and drivers make real decisions from what we publish, so every page on this site goes through the same process before it goes live: sourced, and checked against those sources.
Articles on this site are written by the Off Duty Not Driving Rewards team.
What we publish
Our articles are general guides for trucking fleets and drivers: safety regulations, inspections, safety ratings, and how fleets recognize and keep good drivers. We describe Off Duty Not Driving Rewards only as a rewards program for trucking fleets. We don't publish how the program is run, or anything about a particular client's program. Organizations that want to know more can contact our team.
Where our information comes from
We work from primary sources: the regulations themselves, official sources such as regulators, and the original publishers of any data we cite. When we describe another company's program, we use that company's own published pages and say when we retrieved them.
How we draft
Some drafts are written with help from AI tools. Every claim in a draft is checked against a primary source, claims that cannot be verified are taken out, and a person decides whether it is published.
Fact-checking and review
- Each factual claim is checked against its primary source before publishing.
- Where a claim or statistic cannot be verified, we take it out rather than soften it.
- We keep reviewing articles after they are published, and correct them when they are wrong.
- Articles about safety regulations (hours of service, CSA, safety ratings, inspections) are also being reviewed by Shakir Shafeek. Any change that comes out of that review is made on the article.
Corrections
If you spot something wrong or out of date, email customerservice@offdutynotdrivingrewards.com with the page and what needs fixing. We review every report and correct the page when it is wrong.
